Men as victims of Gender Based Violence

By Pumulo Sifuwe

In as much as we may continuously plead government to intervene in the fight against Gender Based Violence, many men still remain quite to the matter even when they are affected or maybe even when they witness such issues in our communities.

Men resort  to keep their pride of being a man and remain silent even when their women violet them hence increasing the number of Gender Based Violence Cases in our Country.

Yet another cause for an increase of Gender Based Violence against men is that of women Violeting  the young boys in homes. This may happen in cases where young boys/men are abused by women and threatened as not to report such cases.

This prompts my urging to all men and boys to ensuring that we report such cases to the regulated bodies and the authority. In as much as we may feel we out-power our women, we still have the ability to report such cases to the authorities. By so doing, we shall together alleviate of fight Gender Based Violence.

In conclusion, perfect families go all out to protect their children and if you heard anyone screaming because s/he is beaten, you must go out and stop it.

Introduction to real life issues

By Pumulo Sifuwe

When you are still a child, you may think life is easy at-all but that is actually not the case. Things start changing the moment you are no longer taken care of by your parents. As you grow up, you may think there is no purpose of having that life, more especially if you are not from a well to do family. This calls for hard work and utilizing every opportunity in a better use for the benefit of tomorrow.

Always study hard whenever accorded an opportunity at school or any institution for a better stay in your future life.
